Provides highly professional associate relations services, including consultative advice and counsel, specialized problem-solving skills, planning skills, excellent communication, associate development and interpersonal skills.
Responsible for planning, design and administration of policies, procedures and programs in the areas of employment, benefits, training, health and safety, salary administration and performance improvement.
Oversee a region of locations and corresponding personnel.
Responsibilities:
In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management.
Directs the Human Resource operations of assigned districts to insure consistent and thorough application of Human Resource practices and policies.
Coordinates with all departments the succession planning, recruiting, selection, training and development of all associates.
This would include HR planning; training needs assessments & a talent needs assessment.
Provides competent consultative advice and counsel to management on matters related to human resource utilization, problem solving, discipline, employment law, strategic planning and other areas as needed or requested.
Consults on all terminations.
Counsels managers and associates on practices and their contribution to problems in a constructive, appropriate and team building manner.
Ensures all Company policies, procedures and appropriate governmental regulations are communicated and adhered to, with irregularities appropriately handled.
Ensures managers are trained in effective objective setting and performance review techniques and the process meets the Company and associate's expectations.
Develops and maintains programs, activities, plans and processes that create and permit a working environment which fosters a stable and productive work force with a high level of morale.
Administers a properly balanced total compensation package (sales incentives, associate incentives, job perquisites, 401K, life, medical, wellness etc.
) that meets associate needs.
Should be competitive and motivating to the point that the costs affect savings in a positive manner, i.
e.
less turnover, recruitment and retention of top qualified professional associates.
Administers associate Health and Safety programs that promote a safe and healthful workplace through proper planning, communication, awareness, training, supervision and control of hazards.
Ensures management and employer compliance with Federal OSHA and State Health and Safety Laws and Regulations.
Directs a program of orientation for new associates designed to provide necessary information for associates to become a productive and motivated member of the work force.
Conducts inhouse compliance audits in the areas of wage/hour, workers' compensation, employment practices, state/federal health and safety, with emphasis on ensuring all practices conforms with local state and federal laws and regulations when required.
Ensures execution of strategy to correct issues related to associate engagement Educates and facilitates associates use of company benefit plans.
This would include the execution of a wellness strategy.

$65,00 - $75,000.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
